Landscape Management Form


This form is to be used as the first step of the application process at Darwin International Airport (DIA) and Alice Springs Airport (ASA) for Airport Building Activity consent for all vegetation works and activities on DIA/ASA land. All vegetation management requests MUST be submitted through the Airport Building Control Online (ABCO) portal. A signed Landscape Management Form is NOT an approval to conduct works. Approval can only be granted by the Airport Building Control. 


Step 1:

Fill out this form and include the location, description, reason and any relevant images.

Step 2:

The Environment and Sustainability Manager will review the form and request any additional information if required. If no additional information is required, the signed form will be returned.

Step 3:

If works are part of a project and/or an existing ABCO application: Upload the completed form to your application. 

If works are isolated and/or not part of an existing ABCO application: Once the signed form has been returned, go to the ABCO portal and complete an Exemption Application and Notification and upload your completed Landscape Management Form as part of your submission.

NOTE: FORM MUST BE SIGNED BY ENVIRONMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER BEFORE COMMENCING YOUR ABCO SUBMISSION.

Additional details:

  • Certain activities may require an arborist or ecological report.

  • Contractors performing works must be registered and inducted.
