Although TMPs and TGSs are appraised by ADG authorised person (s) for appropriateness, the applicant remains responsible for actual compliance with AS1742.3, AGTTM and all other relevant standards. ADG, its agent and staff accept no responsibility for liabilities resulting from TMPs or TGSs appraised for appropriateness by ADG, which may be later found to be non-conforming with any relevant standards.
Applicant is responsible for:
All aspects of the site control and safety
Ensuring that the TMP/TGS is designed by an accredited Traffic Management Designer (TMD), and persons setting up or manning traffic control have the relevant traffic control have the relevant traffic management accreditations for Traffic Management Implementer and Traffic Controller
Ensuring all traffic control measures as part of the TMP/TGS are placed and maintained in accordance with the TMP/TGS, relevant standards and guidelines
Conduct initial inspection of the site and ensure regular inspections of the implemented traffic control measures
Monitoring the traffic flow and public behaviour throughout the site and taking action where required to amend the traffic control measures as appropriate following approvals of the Traffic Management Designer and the ADG Permit Approver.
